मोहित गढ़िया ने 2014 में अपनी भाभी के कपड़ों के किराए के काम में हाथ बँटाना शुरू किया। काम करते-करते समझ आया कि कपड़े और सिलाई की तकनीक की उनकी अपनी जानकारी अधूरी है। उन्होंने एक सिलाई संस्थान में दाख़िला लिया — लगभग 70 महिलाओं की कक्षा में वे अकेले पुरुष विद्यार्थी थे। वहीं प्रिया से मुलाक़ात हुई। दोनों ने सूरत के इंटरनेशनल इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ फ़ैशन डिज़ाइन से पढ़ाई की, और 2021 में, कोविड के दौरान, ऑनलाइन सिलाई सिखाना शुरू किया।Mohit Gadhiya started helping in his sister-in-law’s clothes-rental business in 2014. Working there, he realised his own knowledge of fabric and stitching technique had gaps. He enrolled at a tailoring institute — the only male student in a class of about seventy women. That is where he met Priya. The two studied at the International Institute of Fashion Design in Surat, and in 2021, during Covid, began teaching stitching online.
