- दिन के उजाले में, खिड़की की ओर मुँह करके खड़े हों — रोशनी चेहरे पर पड़े, पीछे से नहीं।Stand facing a window in daylight, so the light falls on your face and not from behind you.
- पीछे सादी हल्के रंग की दीवार हो। कोई और व्यक्ति या सामान न दिखे।A plain, light-coloured wall behind you. No other person or clutter in the frame.
- सीधे कैमरे में देखें, दोनों कान दिखें, टोपी या चश्मा नहीं। सामान्य भाव रखें।Look straight at the camera, both ears visible, no cap and no sunglasses. Keep a neutral expression.
- कोई दूसरा व्यक्ति कंधे तक की फ़ोटो खींचे — सेल्फ़ी में चेहरा मुड़ जाता है।Ask someone else to take it from the shoulders up — a selfie distorts the face.

3 · हस्ताक्षर3 · The signature
- सादे सफ़ेद काग़ज़ पर काली स्याही के पेन से हस्ताक्षर कीजिए — पतली पेंसिल नहीं।Sign on plain white paper with a black ink pen — not a thin pencil.
- ठीक ऊपर से, अच्छी रोशनी में फ़ोटो लीजिए। परछाईं न पड़े।Photograph it from directly above in good light, with no shadow across the paper.
- Photopea में काग़ज़ की झाईं हटाने के लिए: Image → Adjustments → Levels, और सफ़ेद वाला सिरा बाईं ओर खिसकाइए। फिर हस्ताक्षर के चारों ओर काटिए।To clean the paper in Photopea: Image → Adjustments → Levels, and drag the white slider to the left. Then crop close around the signature.
